Is there really no setup fee?
Yes — completely free to register and set up. You only pay when orders come through ChopDial, and even then it's just the 9% commission deducted automatically from each order.
What does the 9% actually cover?
The USSD infrastructure (renting a shared shortcode from Africa's Talking — GHS 900/month), Paystack payment processing fees, SMS notification costs, and platform maintenance. We're not making a huge margin here — 9% is lean for what's included.
When do I receive my money?
Payments are processed through Paystack and settled to your MoMo account typically within 1-3 business days. Settlement frequency can be configured in your Paystack sub-account settings.
What if I want to stop using ChopDial?
No lock-in. You can deactivate your restaurant account at any time. Outstanding settlements will still be paid out on the normal schedule.
Are there any hidden fees?
None. No monthly subscription, no SMS fees charged to you, no per-session USSD charges passed on. Just 9% per completed order.
